I would like to take this opportunity of recording our appreciation of the work you have undertaken to restore our antique chest to its original condition. It was in such a poor state having been neglected for decades and you have worked a miracle in bringing it back to life.
A visiting family friend, who happens to be a conservator at a national museum remarked on the quality of the workmanship that was required in the restoration of this item. We feel this is testimony itself of your workmanship.
The chest is now in pride of place in the lounge. Thanks again for a job very well done.
